چکیده
Background: This study compared microleakage of Class II cavities restored using bonded-base and bulk-fill techniques with different bases. Materials Methods: In this in vitro study, 60 extracted human molars, standardized (4 mm × 2 8 mm) were prepared, such that the gingival floor was located 1 below CEJ. The teeth randomly divided into five groups filled with: (1) Fuji LC + x-tra fil, (2) Ionoseal (3) base (4) Grandio Flow (5) fil only [control group]; open-sandwich technique, thickness mm. bases coated all floor. Except for first group, where dentin conditioner used, Clearfil SE bond applied before application restorative materials as a bonding agent. After 500 thermocycles between 5°C 55°C, specimens immersed 0.5% basic fuchsine solution 24 h. sectioned, dye penetration observed by stereomicroscope at ×32. data analyzed Kruskal–Wallis Mann–Whitney tests SPSS software. significance determined 0.05 confidence interval. Results: statistical analysis revealed significant difference among (P Conclusion: use could reduce microleakage, including those composite restorations.

In-Vitro Evaluation of Microleakage of Class II Cavities Restored with Bulk-Fill Flowable Composite
Background and Aim: Composite placement poses many challenges, especially in the gingival floor with dentinal margins. Microleakage is one of the factors affecting the longevity of dental restorations. We aimed to compare the microleakage of cavities filled with bulk-fill composite at enamel and dentinal margins. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, a total of 102 sound human pre...

متن کاملComparing the Microleakage of Bulk-Fill (flowable, packable) Composite Restorations and Conventional Light-cured Composites
Introduction and aim: Bulk Fill composites have increased polymerization depth and their contraction stress, and cuspal deflection are reduced in comparison with conventional composites. Therefore, it is claimed that their microleakage is reduced. The aim of this study was to compare microleakage of (flowable and packable) Bulk Fill and conventional resin composites. Materials and Methods: Thi...
متن کاملComparative Evaluation of microleakage of Bulk-fill and Posterior Composite Resins Using the Incremental Technique and a Liner in Cl II Restorations
Background and Aim: In recent years there has been a surge in the use of tooth-colored restorations. However, the polymerization shrinkage of these materials can form gaps, resulting in microleakage. This study aimed to compare microleakage by using different materials and techniques. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, Cl II cavities were prepared on the mesial surfaces of 60 s...
